Around 40 construction experts validate the new Training Roadmap for the construction sector.

On 29 April, experts in construction and training met online, invited by the partners of the ‘Construye 2030‘ project, to assess the Action Plan, feasibility and impact of the measures of the Training Roadmap necessary for the sector to contribute to achieving the European climate objectives, one of the results of this BUILD UP Skills project.

This meeting was the third and last meeting of the working group made up of 40 experts in training and in the sector, who have contributed their experience to define and prioritise the training measures necessary for the construction sector to move towards the 2030 Objectives.

The conference began with a brief summary of the progress made to date, following the organisation of the first two workshops on 23 January and 6 March.

This was followed by a dynamic to validate the measures included in the report and a debate to review the feasibility and impact of the measures. In addition, various options to contribute to the implementation of the Roadmap were shared by the participating organisations.

The closing was in charge of GBCE and the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, who took the opportunity to recapitulate the main conclusions reached during the debates and advanced the next steps to be taken through the ‘Construye 2030’ project.
