Green Building Council España (GBCe) presented the ‘Construye 2030’ project at the 7th edition of REBUILD, the forum for the transformation of building towards a sustainable model, which took place between 19 and 21 March at IFEMA, Madrid.
The first round table of the REBUILD 2024 fair in the ‘Holcim’ space was on the “Knowledge and skills needed for the future of the building sector”. The presentation of the ‘Construye 2030’ project served as a guiding thread for this debate, where the attendees were informed about the European Commission’s Life Clean Energy Transition programme to which the initiative belongs, its objectives and results achieved.
Some conclusions of the ‘Study of the current situation of the construction sector’ were also presented, which later allowed enriching the exchange at the dialogue table, with the participation of Inés Idzidowski from AECOM, Alejandro Payán from CGATE, Irene Jimeno, director of Toca Madera-Sounds Wood and Ana Guerrero from GBCe as moderator.
