On 27 October, the Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo (Fundae) organised the dissemination event of the project ‘Construye 2030’ during the Universidad Pyme Fair, which took place on 26 and 27 October at IFEMA, Madrid.
The Fair was the meeting place for SMEs, freelancers and entrepreneurs from different sectors to meet with professionals from the field of training, education centres, students and business and trade union associations, to discover the latest trends and developments in the technology, innovation and training sector.
Event ‘Construye 2030: The importance of training for sustainability’.
As part of the Fair, the ‘Construye 2030’ event on the importance of training for sustainability was held in the Espacio Fundae, attended by more than thirty visitors who were able to learn first-hand about the training needs of the construction sector to achieve energy efficiency in buildings and contribute to the European 2030 Objectives.


Sofia Gutiérrez, project technician at Fundae, and Esther Rodríguez, project technician at Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, were in charge of explaining the principles and values of the BUILD UP Skills initiative and the results to be achieved through the ‘Construye 2030’ project.
It is expected that over the next year, the other partners of the BUILD UP Skills ‘Construye 2030’ initiative, co- funded by the LIFE Clean Energy Transition programme of the European Commission, will organise a dissemination event to inform the public about the progress of the project and the achievement of the results.
