‘Construye 2030’ partners attend the 5th anniversary of the CSCAE Observatory 2030

The Fundación Laboral de la Construcción and the National Construction Confederation attended the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the Observatory 2030 of the Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE), which was held yesterday in the auditorium ‘Casa del Lector’ in Matadero Madrid.

During the event, the 15 experts that make up the Vision and Strategy Commission were presented, which was created with the aim of carrying out specific actions for the future of the construction sector and promoting its monitoring and follow-up, activating the agents involved in each case.

During these five years, the 2030 Observatory has sought to align the sector around some common objectives, promoting collaboration and transversality. The event presented the roadmap TOWARDS 2050 and the balance of the work carried out during this time, together with all its partners, which has consolidated the Observatory as the benchmark platform for the building and construction sector in our country, for the fulfilment of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

Numerous initiatives were presented during the event, many of which involve the partners of the ‘Construye 2030’ project. Among them, the ”Cimientos de Igualdad‘ project was highlighted, in which the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción participates through the person in charge of Training Projects, Beatriz Oliete.

At the event, the Observatory’s vision of the 2030 objectives was shared, which has served to set a key horizon for achieving various goals. However, the vision goes further, projecting to 2050 and recognising that the transformation of the sector requires time, despite the fact that the construction industry is considered strategic and is committed to adapting, designing and defining the way of life that society demands and that future generations deserve.

In conclusion, the call to “Let’s be ambitious, let’s look towards 2050” stands out, with the event itself being a successful platform to share visions, establish collaborations and move towards a sustainable and responsible future in the building sector in Spain.
