The event ‘Training and employment initiatives for sustainable construction’ was held today at the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM), from 9:00 to 15:00, with streaming through the YouTube channel of the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (FLC).
The FLC, in coordination with the project partners, has organised this event to present the results of ‘Construye 2030’; to carry out synergies with other projects, entities and key actors in the sector; and to share the good practices learned during the implementation of this initiative.
During the day, the ‘Construye 2030’ project was disseminated in the presence of sectoral representatives, the Public Administration, members of the scientific and educational community, and social agents.
Afterwards, a round table discussion was held with the participation of the main social agents of the sector and the coordinator of the initiative to address the main conclusions drawn from both the Status Quo and the most important measures included in the Training Roadmap; likewise, the ‘Red Construye’ platform was disseminated and the audience was invited to participate in it.
On the other hand, contents of other initiatives have been presented – the projects: ‘BuildOffSiteEU’, ‘NaturBuild’ and ‘Foundations for Employment’ – related to the thematic working groups of the ‘ Construye 2030’ project to address the qualification needs and employment in sustainable construction through our project.
Finally, a round table was held on ‘training and employment needs arising from the ecological and energy transition’, with members of the working group on Sustainability of the FLC, representatives of the business and scientific fields. A representative of the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM) closed the event.
