CCOO del Hábitat presents the project ‘Construye 2030’ to a representation of its management at state and territorial level

On 20 February, CCOO del Hábitat presented the results of the BUILD UP Skills ‘Construye 2030’ project to the Executive Committee and the General Secretaries of the union’s Territorial Federations at the Madrid facilities of the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción.

During the meeting, the BUILD UP Skills initiative in Spain and the objective of achieving a qualified sector capable of addressing the challenge of achieving a sustainable and environmentally friendly sector were explained.

To achieve it, ‘Construye 2030’ is working on a Report on the training needs of the sector and on a Roadmap which includes priority measures aimed at improving the training of workers in the sector at all levels of the value chain of design, operation, renovation and maintenance of buildings, developing and validating the deployment of new training and qualifications and/or the improvement of existing ones for all types of professionals in line with the new Directive on Energy Efficiency of Buildings.

In addition to these results, CCOO del Hábitat presented the Construye Network, inviting those present to be part of it, as it is a collaborative space dedicated to sectoral training where the training actions that are necessary to achieve the objectives of energy efficiency and sustainability in the field of buildings are discussed.
